We are not revealing a lot of details about our sails until we are ready to release them.  The falcon sail design was made to satisfy  kayakers that are also experienced sailors that where not able to find a quality rig they wanted for their kayaks. These kayak sailors wanted a efficient sail shape with quality materials and a smart design that allow you to paddle normally or sail any time you want.

The falcon design is a Bermuda rig.  A Bermuda rig ( also known as a Marconi rig ) is a configuration typical for almost all modern sail boats. It has a triangle shape and usually has a boom as ours does.  The Bermuda rig is popular amongst modern sailboats for a reason. It is efficient & easy to handle. Thousands of years of trial and error have led small boat designers to most commonly use this configuration. When you try a Falcon Sail you will know why the Bermuda rig is the most popular sail configuration.

Falcon Sails, LLC will sell quality kits that include everything you need to start kayak sailing. The kits include a sail, mast, boom, battens, lines, joints, cleats, nuts bolts and anything else a paddler would need to start kayak sailing.  Our kits also include a storage bag to protect your sail. This bag can be used without disassembling your sail rig. This makes setting up & tear down a breeze.
